Snow day

We were eating breakfast yesterday morning when Chad noticed it was snowing. I started to panic until I remembered we no longer live in Nebraska (or Nerbrasker, as Abbey says) and it was unlikely to accumulate too much. Fortunately, I was right. There was just enough to go out and play in it a little, but it was gone by the next morning. Abbey was really excited and kept touching it and saying "It's cold snow!"

Abbey made footprints all morning.

Chad is thrilled to not have to shovel the snow. Look how big those snowflakes are!

Elliott is not pleased, but she is warm.

My kids were disappointed to have to get in the car before they could play in it. They soon forgot their sorrows after we got to the New Sanno!
