Chad who?

This morning I went back through my blog posts and realized I have barely mentioned Chad! So here's a quick catch up on the Newman who keeps up with his girls on the go...

Chad has been busy this summer performing on base and in the local area with USAF band Pacific Trends. It has been a huge blessing that he hasn't gone out of town since Elliott was born, but that will soon change with two upcoming Japan tours. He has so many different collateral duties at work that I can't remember them all, but he won't complain because he has his own office now!

Chad and Abbey on stage before PT's July 4th performance. Abbey loves going to hear Daddy's band play.

Chad in action!

Chad is also playing with a "side" band called the B-siders, made up of one other AF band member and some civilian friends. Check them out on You Tube! (See my links.)

When he's not drumming, Chad is at home and can usually be found in Abbey's room, being a good sport about having a plastic food feast or giving her a piggy back ride. They also enjoy going for bike rides and playground adventures. Elliott is definitely a mommy's girl, but is always happy to see Daddy and get some tickles.

A rare "happy with Daddy" moment.

Chad went to a sumo match in Tokyo recently (see the post Nihongo now!) and will try to attend another in January. He is also really looking forward to attending the Drummer's Collective in New York City this fall. That's about all on Chad for now.

Chad with his other love... his drumset.
