Christmas in April

On Saturday, while we were sitting around using Elliott's nap time as an excuse to be lazy, the UPS man dropped off a big box. It was a Christmas-Valentine's Day- Abbey's birthday present! If it had arrived on Thursday I might have thought it was an April Fool's joke, but really, it was just some slightly belated gifts from my very sweet aunt and cousins. These pictures just made me laugh.
Elliott had just woken up from her nap and was not that excited to do anything, not even open presents.

But Abbey got her in the spirit right away.

Both girls got a big, cute magnifying glass. The better to see you with, my dear!

And (drum roll please) new baby strollers! I had mentioned to my aunt that Elliott would like a new one, but in her great mother-of-two-girls wisdom, she sent two, so they would actually play with them, and not fight over one. Love her!

That got Elliott right off the couch and in search of her beloved Pinkie Pie.

Thanks Marla, Jessi and Alex! It was the best Christmas in April we've ever had. ;0)
