Unfortunately, this was Abbey's last class. Due to a new time and new location, going to music class was taking up our entire afternoon once a week- from the minute I got Abbey at school, until time to eat a late dinner and go to bed. Add to that the fact that Abbey and her tummy hate riding in the car, and you have a very stressful afternoon. "Stress" is exactly what I do not want her to associate with playing music! We all decided that even though she enjoys the class and has learned a lot, it's best for her to stop. She may start taking one-on-one piano lessons soon. I know that she has a strong foundation for whatever musical endeavors come next, and that the confidence she has gained will stick with her. For now, she will entertain us with endless performances of Jingle Bellls!

Music Recital
At the beginning of this year, Abbey started taking a music class. She had her first class recital back in May, and we were so proud of what she had learned and the confidence she gained. She started back to music class in September and impressed us once again at her recital last week.
Elliott waiting for Abbey to start playing. She liked watching Abbey, and was definitely the best-behaved younger sibling there!
Abbey (quietly, carefully, perfectly) plays Jingle Bells.
The group plays "Coqui" on the xylophones.

Ainsley played "Jingle Bells" on the piano too!
Yea, Abbey! So proud of you, and can't wait to hear Jingle Bells at my house!
