Elliott in 2010

It's a new year and time for updates on the Girls on the Go. First up (because in reality she never gets to go first) is Elliott. Though she is still quite petite, she has grown a little and people aren't as shocked that she can walk and talk. She weighs about 25 pounds now, and her hair is getting longer in the back and, um, taller.

What she lacks in height she makes up for with hair...

... and personality.

Elliott talks and talks and talks, until anyone else comes around. She doesn't seem to be frightened of other people, but she has to get to know you before she will talk your ear off. She asks questions about everything. I know that she is building her vocabulary and discovering the world and learning all the time but sometimes I have to say "No more questions!" 2010 will be a big year for Elliott. She is doing well with potty training, will move to a big girl bed sometime, and probably start pre-school in the fall.
Some things Elliott loves right now:
*Getting herself dressed (first thing in the morning and wardrobe changes throughout the day)
*Little Critter books
*Using the potty (but NOT washing her hands)
*Taking care of her babies- it's too bad there aren't going to be any babies at our house, because she sure does love them!
*Playing outside. We had some very cold weather recently and Elliott did not like staying indoors. So yesterday we had to take advantage of the warmer temperatures, despite the rain.
